InterPort Police Port Security Journal & Special Reports

We are in the process of publishing our first 2010 Special Report due out in April.  The International Edition of the Port Security Journal will explore the issues, visit airports and seaport officials and review the new year.

Corporate Partners and authority departments receive a special pricing.  Also we have limited space for commercial advertising that is suitable for the yearbook.  This large coffee table style book is not misplaced, it is viewed by first responders, policymaker and members of homeland security staff and officials.

Please contact us info@usportpolice.org  or call 202.595.9111 for details.

SRMX Information & Intelligence Portal

We provide various open source information through the Knowledge Base.  These briefings focus on world events, security, significant federal transactions, and airport and seaport events.  We also keep a calendar available in the member section.  We look to provide information that is important to your operations.  Our team works to share information where appropriate across jurisdictions and countries each day on SRMX.

SSI and Law Enforcement Source Briefing

Qualified airport and seaport law enforcement, public safety and security officials are eligible for SSI and LE reports and alerts depending on ones qualified status.  USASP may distribute some open source material via email but the majority of information will be available on SRMX or the FBI law enforcement online under the U.S. Airport and Seaport Police SIG. Tuesday through Saturday a Report and Briefing email is sent out to officials on SRMX.  In addition to security and intelligence reports you will also find information on gangs, train and best practices shared from other government agencies and law law enforcement departments. If you or your department is interested in other issues please bring them to our attention and we discuss posting such matters.

Agency - LEO/SEO Airports and Seaport Directory

The U.S. Airport and Seaport Police in alliance with the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police maintains an airport and seaport command law enforcement and security department database, including key government agencies on SRMX.  You must be qualified to view the database.  Currently we maintain the security database for the countries of the United States, Canada and United Kingdom.  In addition we maintain key liaison with agencies in the U.S. such as TSA, Secret Service, USCG, DOJ, the White House, Transport Canada and CATSA.  We look to expand this to other airports and seaports throughout the world.

How we do this.  We have most major airports and seaports in the database and are in the process of contacting the individual airports and seaports for additional information and additions.  We are asking departments to help keep the information current.  Our secure program is easy to use and keep updated. Authorized user officials can access the database exchange information, but cannot change it, on our help desk or your administrator can make the change for your particular page.

FBI Law Enforcement Online

The United States Airport and Seaport Police participates in the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Law Enforcement Online  for law enforcement officers from the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

The NAS is capable of sending up to 160,000 unsecured notifications to pagers, cellular phones, and other wireless devices to advise that an alert has been sent.

The Virtual Control Center:  The VCC is a situational awareness mechanism and crisis management tool that is used for tracking, displaying, and disseminating intelligence and tactical information. In addition, the VCC provides ready access to a wide range of reference materials that are appropriate to the event and/or venue. Because the VCC resides on the LEO system, it can be utilized and/or reviewed by authorized members.
